It's been a long time coming, but the latest version of Internet Explorer has finally been officially released for Windows 7.
Internet Explorer (IE) 10 is now available for anyone with an up-to-date version of Windows 7 (anyone with at least service pack 1 installed) and will be rolled out automatically via Windows Update in the coming weeks.
IE 10 is the latest version of Microsoft's seminal browser and has been available to users of their new Windows 8 operating system since its launch back in October 2012. The new browser is reportedly much faster than IE 9 and offers up a whole raft of improvements and features, including integrated spell checking and auto-correct features, and better integration of web standards such as HTML 5.
It's hoped that the latest version will boost Internet Explorer's appeal once again, with home users and businesses choosing to use the software. While this is a free update from Microsoft, it pays to keep up to date so If you're a business looking to ensure you have the best software available, why not contact your local North Devon IT and computer support for a helping hand?
