At VPW, the Exeter & Devon IT Support company, we love new technology, especially gadgets, so it's no real surprise that we've been keeping an eye on announcements of a brand new tablet device from Samsung and an Android based smart phone from Huawei kicked off this year's Mobile World Congress, an event where the latest and greatest mobile developments are shown off.
Around 1,500 exhibitors are expected to take part in the Barcelona-based annual event, displaying everything from the latest apps to recent technological developments. The first big announcements at this year's congress were of an 8in (20.3cm) Samsung tablet with a high definition display and a new phone offering from Huawei, the Ascend P2 with a 4.7in screen and 13 megapixel camera. As the event progresses, more announcements are expected, many of which will introduce the latest mobile business gadgets.
There was one disappointment for congress goers this year however, as Samsung decided to hold off on the launch of the eagerly anticipated Galaxy S4 handset, although they've confirmed it will be with us soon.
