Hosted and Cloud Technology - Agility Mail
Help with your Hosted E-Mail Service, including Outlook, Mobile Access, using Web Mail and sharing information with your team
Depending on what stage of "Deletion" your items are in, you may be able to "Recover" the items.
The first place to look in all cases is your "Deleted Items" folder - as initially messages you delete go into this folder. If this has been cleared (either by you or our automated deletion), you can also look at using these alternative methods:
(A) Using "Outlook Recover Deleted Items" Tool
You must first be in the same folder as the place you deleted the items - for example if you want to recover items from your Inbox folder, you must be have selected/be in the Inbox folder before following these instructions:
Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013:
Make sure you're on the "Mail" section, then choose the "Folder" Tab, then choose "Recover Deleted Items" - any deleted but recoverable items will be listed here and you can then restore them.
Outlook 2007:
Use the Tools > Recover Deleted Items menu option.
As a general rule, deleted items are kept for at least 14-30 days before being removed from the Recovery Pool, but not all messages can or will be stored here, so this should be considered a "bonus" recovery feature.
(B) Asking us to perform a Full Mailbox Restore
It is not possible to recover individual mail items by contacting our Support Team, but we can generally perform a full Mailbox Recovery for you on request. This will mean us restoring your entire mailbox to another account so you can obtain the messages you need. This is a very time consuming process (because our backups are designed for our disaster recovery purposes, rather than user error) so we charge for this. The cost is a minimum of £75.00 + VAT, but is ultimately based on the time involved. Larger mailboxes will take more work.
