Server Systems - Virtual (VPS) VPower Servers
How to remote access your server, make changes and take advantage of your Cloud Hosted Server systems

What access do I get to my Linux VPS Server?

It depends on the type of VPS Service you have ordered.

If you've ordered an Unmanaged Service, you'll get full Root Access - we don't interfere with the system at all, and you're free to configure as you please (as long as you don't make any changes that affect our network of course).

If you have a managd Linux Server this may vary - most customers choose to take a managed service with a control panel system such as CPanel - where this is the case, you'll normally have a WHM and CPanel login, but we'll retain root access, but this is often agreed on a case by case basis depending on what you want us to manage for you. If in doubt, check your contract or speak to our Support Team.
