Domain Names - Making Changes To Your Domain Names
Help with Domain Names - from changing DNS Records to transferring your name to a new owner
If you wish to change the DNS Records for your domain name, such as adding new records or updating existing ones, please contact our Support Team - you'll need to raise a case by e-mail or online.
We don't accept Phone Requests for this type of change simply because it reduces the chance of misinterpretation of your request which can cause problems for you.
When you request a change, they're normally processed on the same working day (or the next if submitted late in the day), but it can take 24-48 hours for the changes to propagate - we cannot "speed this up" as it's a standard process. If you want us to make the changes for you on a specific date, please indicate this when making your request (we do recommend that you submit requests 2-3 days in advance to make sure they can be processed on the date you wish).
PLEASE NOTE:
(A) CHANGING YOUR DNS RECORDS MAY BREAK OTHER SERVICES YOU HAVE - REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WE PROVIDE THEM - PLEASE ENSURE YOU KNOW THE IMPACT OF THE REQUESTS YOU MAKE!
(B) Changing DNS records will not stop, end or terminate your contract for any service we provide that depends upon them (although it's likely the change will break them at a technical level). You must contact our Accounts Team to properly terminate your service (which may include paying any minimum term period off)
(C) We cannot be held responsible for any loss of service you encounter as a result.
