Assistance with the Web Files Service - how to login, information on supported devices and help with common queries and tasks.

Can I map a drive to my Web Files Storage?

Whether you can do this or not depends on the Operating System you're running. Older versions of Windows are not supported, and macOS computers should be running the latest version of MacOS.

NOTE:
Windows XP does not natively allow "Drive Letter" mapping at all.

Windows Vista does, but does not support the security methods required to make a secure connection to the service, so cannot be used.

Windows 7 can be used, but you may need to change some registry settings as the
default configuration does not support sufficient security options to permit access.

Customers using Windows 8, 8.1 or Windows 10 should be able to do so out of the box.

Customers using MacOS can mount the drives natively, but we recommend using Mountain Duck for a better and more robust experience.
