Do you support Windows 8 with Agility Desktop?

Yes, in fact we recommend using Windows 8 as you get the best possible experience and performance when using it.

Please note that you must ensure you have applied the Windows Updates available for Windows 8 (to at least those available in June 2013) as there are a number of fixes and improvements in some of those updates which have an impact on the experience of Agility Desktop. We're also aware of a limited but noticeable bug when using some applications such as Sage Act! if you haven't installed those updates.

In addition, if you're using Windows 8.1 (which most Windows 8 users should have upgraded to for free), it must be running the latest updates - to at least April 2015 to operate properly. Previous to this, there were a few known issues - some of which we have patches for, but others we do not. VPW can only provide support for up to date client systems.

In any case, we recommend customers keep computers patched and up to date as a general rule and as well as making Agility Desktop work better, you'll have a more secure computer too.
