Guitars on the Beach

Take 2,000 people playing guitar, the seafront at Lyme Regis in Dorset and the 7th September 2013 @ 5pm and what have you got?

You've got Guitars on the Beach - a UK Record attempt at getting 2,000 guitarists (and other related instruments) playing a single song at the same time.

The song? Buddy Holly's "Rave On".

VPW are proud to sponsor this event and are providing the Web Hosting and Domain Registration Services allowing people to find out about the event as well as register to join the band! Speaking about the event Managing Director, Vincent Paul Wilton said "As someone with a keen interest in music myself, and VPW IT having customers throughout the Lyme Regis and Dorset regions it seemed a natural fit for us to get involved. After all, getting 2,000 people to play a single song on a seafront seems like a bit of fun for all."

The event is rapidly picking up pace,and we've already got the West End star Billy Geraghty to lead the band. Billy was the first British actor to play Buddy Holly in the mega-hit musical Buddy and, as September 7th is Buddy Holly's birthday, it's appropriate to have Billy leading a Buddy big band on the day.
