What can you run with Agility Desktop?

When Agility Desktop was created, we wanted to make sure that Small Businesses like yours could run the special software and tools designed for your industry and to make sure you only need one cloud service, one login, and a simple, effective way to obtain support which removes the need to "pass the buck" between suppliers.

As part of that we designed Agility Desktop to support all kinds of software. If you're technical, have a look at the Technical Requirements which can give you more detailed insight for software not listed here, otherwise take a look at these examples (but remember, this isn't all we can run - speak to us!)

Standard Office Applications

The Microsoft Office Suite - including the very latest 2013 version works with Agility Desktop and you can subscribe to have Office as part of your package (on a per user basis). Office Standard includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, while the Pro option adds Publisher, Access and OneNote too.

You can also use Libre Office, OpenOffice and Kingsoft Office as alternatives if you prefer.

Accounts Software

Agility Desktop can be used with all kinds of products from Sage, including Sage Accounts 50, Sage Instant Accounts, and Sage Payroll. You can use it with Intuit Quickbooks too if that's your preference, and we know it works with plenty of other packages too. It also can work with Pyramid Payroll, SunSystems Financials

CRM Software

Agility Desktop works with industry standard packages such as Sage ACT! (now known as SwiftPage Act!), as well as industry specific software - for example Eclipse Proclaim CMS for Legal Companies. Of course if your application is designed using Microsoft Access then it works as long as you subscribe to Office Professional within Agility Desktop.

Publishing Software

Agility Desktop works with software such as Adobe Acrobat. Some "graphics rich" software isn't yet possible due to limitations beyond our control, but ask us and we'll tell you. If not, using Agility Desktop alongside our Agility Desktop Web Files service can allow you to open/save files even from these non-hosted applications.

Project Management

It's possible to use Agility Desktop with software such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio if that's your kind of thing. It also works with several Mind-Mapping products too.

NOTE: For some products additional subscriptions are required either for the software itself (which you'd pay regardless of how you use it) or additional costs for us to support it. We can advise on this and in most cases supply licenses to ensure you get a single supplier to bill you for everything.
